For fifteen years I have designed and taught English Language Arts, building curriculum from the standards up and refining it with real classroom data. What I love most is the design work itself: taking a dense standard and turning it into a lesson, a visual, or an assessment that a student can actually follow and a teacher can actually run.
Along the way my materials became the ones other teachers asked for, and I helped set the bar for content quality across my grade team. Now I am bringing that craft to curriculum development, instructional design, and educational content, where the audience is bigger and the impact compounds.
